Dr Toni Kojovic

Toni is a Mechanical Engineer, with a PhD in mineral processing from the JKMRC. After a long career with the JKMRC Toni was appointed Manager of Applied Technology and Research at Teck’s Red Dog Mine in Alaska. In 2003, Toni started his Brisbane based consulting company, SimSAGe Pty Ltd. Toni has become a world class specialist in comminution technology over the past 30 years, working with numerous operations in crushing, grinding and mine to mill optimization, and is a consultant in this field, working closely with numerous mining operations. Toni is the inventor of the portable ore hardness tester called HIT, now installed at 15 locations around the world. Toni is co-author of the JKMRC Comminution Monograph, co-editor of Barry Wills Mineral Processing Technology textbook and has authored more than 90 papers on mineral processing technologies.
